Cartoons, Cover Prints and more!
The New Yorker cartoon and cover prints are a clever addition to any room or office. They are available matted and framed or matted only. Cartoonbank has gathered some stunning pieces of original cover and cartoon art. A perfect gift for Mother’s Day.
An original New Yorker cartoon art for Mother’s Day!
“They got extinct because they didn’t listen to their mommies.” (Mother talking to son at dinosaur exhibit.) ID: 65967, Donald Reilly, 72, cartoonist for magazines including the Saturday Evening Post and the New Yorker, for which he drew 16 covers. Published in The New Yorker January 27, 2003 Reilly mocked the foibles of anxious yuppies and overwrought parents in edgy yet goofy pieces. In this one, a woman standing with her young son near a museum’s dinosaur skeleton warns him, “They got extinct because they didn’t listen to their mommies.”
Cartoonbank.com also offers art-quality matted and framed prints of individual cartoons, prepared by gallery experts and ready to hang. They even offer the original artwork of many of the cartoons featured on Cartoonbank. They also have 3,500 New Yorker covers available as matted and framed prints. We are the only place to sell many of these covers. Cartoonbank is the exclusive source for Saul Steinberg’s New Yorker art, as well as prints from the legendary Charles Addams.
